Nepal’s Plight and Our Role
Nepal is a small and isolated country in the Himalayas. One of the poorest countries in the region we have nearly 30 million people.
Most recently we have been struck by a series of earthquakes that killed over 18,000 people and have left millions homeless. The devastation particularly around the capital of Kathmandu reached a truly horrific scale, leaving children and the elderly homeless and without food and water. It is the children and mothers that concern us most as they have no support network on which to rely.
The responsibility falls to us to protect the children !
Our goal is to aid in reconstruction efforts by providing support, education and expertise to the local people who have been through so much already!
